The Embassy of Sweden handles a very large number of consular cases every year. The work requires service minded, accurate and cooperative officers who are able to meet customers and local authority’s in an effective and correct manner. The work may be stressful and require adaption to different tasks on short notice.
Main duties:
• Serving customers regarding certificates and questions
• Assisting in passport matters
• Assisting officers in collecting information regarding consular cases/matters
• Contact with Thai Authority’s (police, hospitals, prisons)
• Any other duty at the consular section that may be
Professional and Personal Qualifications:
• University degree
• Experience in administrative and service work
• Good computer literacy
• Excellent command of spoken and written Thai and English
• Accurate, cooperative and service minded
• Able to handle fluctuating workloads in sometimes stressful situations
• Spoken and written Swedish is an advantage
• Experience from previous consular work is an advantage
Salary: According to Swedish Foreign Service salary system for locally employed staff.
